Registration for the spring 2014 soccer season has begun! There are limited roster spots in each age group. Therefore, residents of Recreation District 14 will have priority when filling the roster spots in all age groups. There are two ways to register this year…on-line or in-person. Here are all of the details…

• Players who registered and played 2013 fall soccer are automatically registered for the 2014 spring soccer season.
• U6 & U8 will play co-ed soccer.
• U10 & U12 will form separate boys’ & girls’ teams
• Your child MUST be at least 4 years old on or before July 31, 2013 and not older than 13 years old on July 31, 2013 to be eligible to play rec soccer at MYB.
• The age group (or team) your child will play is determined by their age on July 31, 2013. If your child is 4 years old on or before 7/31/13, he/she will play U6 soccer, if your child is 6 years old on or before 7/31/13, he/she will play U8 soccer, etc…
• There will be no evaluations for the players who register for the spring season. Players will be assigned to teams.
• U6 & U8 soccer will practice one night per week for one hour
• U10 & U12 soccer will practice at least one night per week for one hour. Some teams may practice an additional night if there is available practice space.
• Practice days and times will be determined by the head coach of each team and available field space.
• Players who register do so with the knowledge that they will be assigned to a team and they will have to practice on the day and time assigned to that team.
• Due to the limited availability of roster spots in each age group, we will not accept special requests (requests to be placed on a specific team, practice on a specific day, practice at a specific time, etc…).
• Once the roster spots are filled in a particular age group, we will start a waiting list for that age group.

Registration

On-line will open at 8:00am on December 1, 2013 and close at 11:59pm on January 6, 2014.You can register on-line 24 hours a day during the on-line registration period. Payment of all registration fees will be made by credit card or debit card.

Registration fees are as follows:

• U6 - $95.00/per player
• U8 - $95.00/per player
• U10 - $115.00/per player
• U12 & U14 - $120.00/per player

 Out District Fee - $50.00 per family, per sport. Please note that if you are out of district & have multiple children playing, you will answer “yes” to the out of district question for one child only. If you come in person, please bring a birth certificate & proof of residency with you to register.

In-Person Registration

In-person registration will be held in the gym entrance at Coquille on the following dates & times

• December 14, 2013, 11:00am – 1:00pm
• January 4, 2014, 1:30pm – 3:30pm
• Late registration will be held on January 6, 2014, 6:00pm – 8:00pm

If you register in person, you MUST bring your player(s) birth certificate & proof of residency (any type of utility bill showing your home address) with you even if you have played here before. The volunteers do not have access to the data base during the registration times.

Out District Fee - $50.00 per family/per sport. Please note that there are limited roster spots available for Recreation Soccer.

Registration fees will include: player registration with the LSA, uniforms (jersey, shorts & socks), participation trophy (U6 – U12 rec soccer), referee fees, NRSL Tournament for U10 & U12.

Players provide their own soccer cleats (football & baseball cleats are not allowed), shin guards, appropriate sized soccer ball (U6 & U8 – size 3 ball, U10 & U12 – size 4 ball and U14/up – size 5 ball) & water.

Refunds:  New players who register for the 2014 spring season will receive a full refund minus a $10 processing fee if you withdraw before January 11, 2014.  Withdrawal after January 11, 2014 but before January 17, 2014 will receive a 50% refund and there will be no refunds after January 16, 2014.
